1. Why should a business use assessments?

In today's business environment where companies desire to foster diversity and ensure compliance with all fair hiring practices, assessments are a valuable tool.

Profiles International has designed their assessments in compliance with EEOC, ADA, civil rights and all other federal and state regulations. While there are assessments in the market place that may not have validated their assessments against these critical factors, our company continually validates our assessments based on historical and RECENTLY enacted regulations. This ensures that the questions on the assessments are not only legal, but protect individual privacy and support diversity in the workplace as a natural outcome of the selection process.

Here is what the experts say about assessments:

"Chances are good that up to 66% of your company's hiring decisions will prove to be mistakes in the first twelve months."
Peter Drucker, Management Consultant

"When an employee leaves you,...you're going to lose 2 1/2 times the person's annual salary, whether they're entry-level or senior management."
Dr. Pierre Mornell, as quoted in Nations Business

"In these days of talent wars, the best way to keep your stars is to KNOW THEM BETTER THAN THEY KNOW THEMSELVES---and then use that information to customize the careers of their dreams."
"Job Sculpting: The Art of Retaining
Your best People"

2. How is an assessment administered and how long will it take to get the results?

The assessments can be administered over the internet, on-screen using your PC and our software or using the paper-pencil method. When taken over the internet, the results are returned within minutes of the completion of the assessment, and this is by far the most convenient and cost-effective option (Back to Top)

3. How long does an assessment take?

The majority of the assessments can be completed within 10 - 20 minutes. Our most comprehensive survey is generally completed within 60 minutes.  (Back to Top)

4. I am just a small business of less than 10 employees. How can I afford these services?

Answer: We are competitively priced and work with companies of all sizes to customize your services based on your specific needs. That is why we meet with you initially to determine your needs. If we cannot show you how you will achieve a return on your investment then we will tell you that and thank you for your time. In almost all cases, even the smallest companies see at least one service that will increase productivity, reduce costs and increase profitability within a short timeframe.  (Back to Top)
